Audition Notice

W!LD RICE’s traditional year-end pantomime has become the much sought after training platform for young talents. This year, we are staging Monkey Goes West, a cheeky and affectionate re-telling of the beloved Chinese classic, set within today’s Singapore. Through the years, W!LD RICE’s FIRST STAGE! has trained more than 250 children through their first experiences of performing on the professional stage alongside established actors and entertainers. Our programme aims to provide a holistic experience for the children. In additional to vocal, dance and movement classes to get the young talents ready for performance, the program tries to impart values such as teamwork, confidence, generosity, discipline and trust through their experience of theatre.
